I just don't get feeds

I just went back and read all about feeds. I don't get what we are supposed to do and how. I went to bloglines....I found nothing that I wanted to link on my site. I am a very practical person. I do enjoy many of the videos I have seen from YouTube. I guess I am going to have to invest some time there. The only podcast that I can recommend to anyone is one that I listen to weekly, http://www.speakingoffaith.org

Another Look at Bloggins

I have just revisited all the assignment readings regarding blogs with the perspective of having more unstressed-out time. I am interested.

How will I use this in the classroom?

This is the question that I still have. I am enjoying all the readings because this all so new to me. My students have limited time and access to computers for blogging. I am unsure what our school filters will allow. I do like the idea of students doing their writing on-line and having others edit and/or make suggestions. I also don't know how people have the time to sit in front of the computer for so much of their time. This is not enjoyable for me; I do not like to sit...unless I am making jewelry or pottery.

Too New to Know

This is a new world for me. Today I felt as if I had entered another universe. I had to walk away and eat some cereal just to feel something familiar. This is another dimension in my concept of school, one without walls or barriers of any kind. Can I cross over? Time will tell.
